About

We believe a better world begins with shared speech.

Embbers was born in Spain in 2026 when a team of scientists and engineers, brought together by a single conviction, decided to build tools where access to speech is a right, not a privilege.

Founding research: laboratory, field, first prototypes.

It all begins with communication.

Since it has existed, speech has structured our lives: it connects us, it lets us learn, it gives us a hold on the world. Yet for millions of people (non-verbal children, children in language acquisition or with learning difficulties, adults with aphasia, autistic people, patients in rehabilitation), gaining access to speech remains an uphill struggle. Existing tools are often closed, monolingual, designed far from the field, and force their users to adapt to logics that are not their own. In many regions of the world, these people simply have no tool in their language.

We created Embbers to offer an alternative.

Embbers was born from the desire to build technologies that place people before technical performance, to create a world where everyone has the means to express what they have to say, and to make assisted communication an accessible reality, in every language, on every medium, for every age.

In this world, you communicate in your language, you keep control of your data, your loved ones and your therapists stay at the centre of the journey, and technology disappears behind use.

Two-way exchange: a hand offering a tablet, dialogue through image.

The evidence of speech.

We commit to defending a fundamental right, the right to be able to say, and we will always stand on the side of a technology that serves the interest of every person, in every language, without conditions.
